Birrateque by Luigi Bormioli matches the individual characteristics of the beer style to the correct size, shape and quality of glass to optimise the look, taste and aroma of different beers. There are six different styles for various types of beer – stout/porter, wheat/weiss; IPA/white; cider and seasonal beer together with a beer tester.
Birrateque collection is produced by using lead-free high tech crystal glass SON.hyx. The transparency and sparkle of this innovative glass enable the appreciation of the real colour and clarity of the beer and its foam. The drinker can enjoy a better taste as the glass distributes the beer more widely across the tongue. The beer stays cooler and it always retains the foam at the right level through its unique foam Control System (FCS). FCS is guaranteed by laser etching the glass base to ensure a small stream of fine bubbles keeps replenishing the foam and releasing the aromas.
