Peter Ducker, the chief executive of the Institute of Hospitality, has been awarded for making a major contribution to the hospitality industry.
The Bacchus Alumni Awards ceremony, held to celebrate the professional achievements of graduates of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management, took place on 11 April 2016 at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
Ducker was recognised as “a truly inspirational and respected figure that has helped to shape the hospitality industry through his talent and commitment.”
Ducker, who was unable to attend the event due to being away in Hong Kong and China on Institute business, said he was very honoured to be recognised in this way.
Donald Sloan, Head of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management, commented: “The awards highlight the strengths of our international community of graduates and give us the opportunity to formally recognise their achievements.”
