Leading London arts venue the National Theatre has appointed Tineke O’Brien in the position of Head of Commercial Events and Commercial Business Development. Joining the team in April, Tineke is responsible for management of the hospitality events and sales team and will be working to develop all aspects of hospitality and commercial events at the National Theatre.
Tineke brings to the National Theatre a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, having held senior sales and marketing positions across London at Searcys at The Commonwealth Club and most recently The Old Royal Navy College in Greenwich.
Commenting on the new appointment Robyn Lines, Director of Commercial Operations at the National Theatre said: “We are thrilled to welcome Tineke to the team and look forward to learning from her fantastic experience in the sector and utilising her skills to continue to grow the venues reputation within the London events industry. Tineke has a personal interest in great food, drink and art in all forms which makes her a great fit for the creativity and artistic influence here at the National Theatre.”
