Coming to Wandsworth Town this June, MeatUp is a new casual, all day restaurant and bar bringing bubbles, beats and a new flavour of British BBQ.
Born out of a love for hosting parties where delicious food made with the best ingredients and well-made drinks are enjoyed with friends, seasoned owner and local resident, Sachin Kanna (previously of Raffles and Libertine), has incorporated some of his best memories into MeatUp.
Quality produce from traceable sources will form a distinctively British menu, featuring premium aged steaks, fresh lobster, shellfish, ribs, burgers and rotis-chicks alongside lighter options, cooked fresh and served hot, simply and full flavoured for solos or to share, from brunch through to dinner.
All dishes will be complemented with bubbles and beats, and the late night bar will signal a serious drinking intent, along with live entertainment and a floor to ceiling bar.
Sachin will draw upon his nightlife experience to implement a programme of live music and DJs for a fresh soundscape, taking guests from daytime dining to night time drinking with an extensive Prosecco list sourced from Bibendum, a selection of craft beers from Meantime Brewery and classic cocktails.
Designed by Keane Designs (Burger & Lobster, Manchester House), MeatUp is bold and lively in character, with urban features such as bare brick and repurposed materials that channel downtown Manhattans industrial flare. Separated into a dining room with kitchen counter seating and communal dining (50 covers), bar area with counter top seating (37 covers) and outside seating (6 covers), MeatUp is designed to be a fully immersive space with an electric atmosphere.
