Malmaison, the iconic boutique hotel brand, announces that it has completed a refurbishment of its Reading hotel. The investment of the railway station hotel has re-affirmed its status as the go-to destination with its newly renovated Chez Mal bar, brasserie and reception area.
Staying true to its roots, the new edgy interior of the brasserie and Chez Mal bar continues to push boundaries. Visitors can savour the mouth-watering new menus with a wide range of tempting new, classic and cheeky cocktails, all in the awe inspiring setting of low hanging bulbs, exposed brick, gorgeous natural wood finishes and rich leather banquette seating. The newly refurbished interiors make a nod to the history of the building with railway inspired art throughout and an iron cast staircase.
Guests can enjoy the new Spring Prix Fixe menu (launched on 30th March) at the newly refurbished hotel. The menu takes classic spring ingredients and adds a Mal twist, and to celebrate its launch, Malmaison is currently offering those who choose three courses a complimentary glass of Mumm Champagne. Guests can also indulge in Malmaisons’ new Spring Cocktail Collection with popular classics and new additions ‘Spring Fizz’, ‘Honey & Basil Daiquiri’ or ‘Lemon & Vanilla Martini’.
