This spring, Fitzrovia Champagne and hot dog bar bubbledogs will be on the move with its new food van, launching on to the streets of London stocked full of Champagne and hot dogs.
The mustard yellow vintage 1976 Peugeot J7 van was originally created in Condòm, France and so has been christened Johnny. Its striking design is inspired by the classic French’s mustard bottle, making it impossible to miss, as it weaves its way around the country to events.
The van will serve bubbledogs’ signature offering of Champagne and hot dogs including favourites such as the New Yorker – grilled sauerkraut, caramelized onions; Sloppy Joe – beef chilli, cheddar cheese & chopped onions; José – fresh tomato salsa, avocado, sour cream & pickled jalapeños and the BLT – crispy bacon, caramelized lettuce & truffle mayo. There will also be new dishes specially created for the van, along with Champagne popsicles to be enjoyed exclusively during the summer season.
Johnny is never one to turn down a party and alongside attending festivals, events and markets across the country he is available for private hire for birthday celebrations, weddings, parties and film premieres. He will be popping up at several festivals across the summer including Love Supreme (1st-3rd July); Lovebox (15th-16th July); Citadel (17th July); Jimmy’s Farm, Sausage & Beer Festival (23rd-24th July); and Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival (28th-30th August).
