Namaste! The Khaadraas (‘Greedy Gourmand’) Club is all about offering new and exciting experiences, and our next dinner is something truly special. Some of you will know that as Parsees, our roots are in Persia, now called Iran, which we left thousands of years ago to settle in India.
On Friday, 15th April, Chef Patron Cyrus Todiwala will revisit his remarkable cultural and culinary roots as he performs a rare double-act with Iranian-born Private Chef Afsaneh Kaviani, a top finalist of Master Chef 2012. Cyrus will cook Indianised versions of traditional Persian dishes while Afsanah will prepare the Persian dishes that formed part and parcel of her upbringing.
We are delighted that Afsanah will be joining us. For her, Master Chef proved to be a life-enhancing experience and she has evolved into an expert in Persian and Middle Eastern cuisine, hosting her Persian supper clubs. She has also worked in some of the UK’s best kitchens, including James Martin’s Leeds Kitchen and Bruno Loubet’s Bistro.
The Khaadraas Club. Open to all. All you need is a good appetite.
