Lord’s Cricket Ground today announces the launch of a series of events enabling guests to get up close and personal with sporting legends from the world of cricket, football and rugby.
The Long Room Legends of Sport series begins on Friday 15th April with a lunch hosted by Sky Sports commentator and 2015 Sports Broadcaster of the Year Ian Ward. He will be joined by former England captains Graham Gooch and Michael Atherton to discuss the world of international cricket and the upcoming season. The event includes a drinks reception and three-course lunch in the iconic Lord’s Long Room, situated in the Grade II* Listed Pavilion.
Lord’s Head of Sales for Meetings, Events and Hospitality, Nick Kenton, says: “We are really excited to launch the Long Room Legends of Sport series of events and host a range of sporting legends for an afternoon of great food and discussion.”
Tickets cost £150 per person. Guest speakers and dates for the upcoming events will be announced shortly. All events include a drinks reception and three-course Long Room lunch.
