On March 10, Harrogate International Centre (HIC) had the privilege of hosting the Virgin Media 2016 Annual Sparkle Awards for the very first time.
Caterer KUDOS – which runs the retail and catering aspect at the HIC – provided a ‘Garden of Unearthly Pleasures’ themed menu on the night.
Guests were treated to a three course meal which consisted of a picnic sharing platter starter with cumin roasted lamb skewers, pork, sage and apple sausage rolls and Mozzarella cheese and tomato crostinis; a roast chicken with spiced dumplings main course; and an afternoon tea style selection of sweet treats served on vintage china for dessert.
General Manager of the HIC, Simon Wilkinson, said: “It was great to be able to serve the Sparkle Awards this year. We had a lot of fun planning an event with a difference.”
