A new cocktail menu at GŌNG will be launched in April. Eighteen original creations by head bartender Christian Maspes and the bar team compose a cocktail journey through time. Each one is inspired by a stage in life, a familiar mood and a captured memory. From simple and carefree magical moments, to daring and reckless pleasures; from confident and rich experiences, to memories of timeless treasures and accomplishments – each crafted and intriguing creation is ready to be explored and savoured. They are served alongside GŌNG’s perfected classics, and add a fresh dimension of experience to the most spectacular views over London. GŌNG at the five-star Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London, is on level 52 and is the highest bar in Western Europe.
The new cocktail menu is arranged within four themed sections. These adventurous combinations of classic spirits and new liqueurs, specialities, vermouths, sherries and even beer, create supremely balanced layers of flavour.

Heavenly cocktails and full-moon star gazing
Drinking luxuriously high in the sky, and enjoying the dramatic panorama of London’s skyline is the unique experience in GŌNG. As the city views change from day to night, so does the mood in GŌNG; relaxing and energizing by day, glamorous and seductive by night. To celebrate the new cocktail menu, visitors can now also enjoy the wonders of space. Magnified views of the moon and night sky create an even more heady, heavenly experience. On full-moon nights, you can stargaze with a cocktail in hand, using a telescope located in GŌNG. The first night will be 23 March 2016 [then 22 April, 21 May, a Summer solstice celebration on 20 June, and further dates in the year]. An astro-physicist will be on hand on certain nights to guide you through the mysteries of the sky.
