Hotelympia Exhibition 2016 – Stand 2750
The ‘Artis Wonderland’ themed stand at Hotelympia was the launch platform for the new Artis 2016 catalogue, which is packed with new tabletop and barware ideas.
Artis, the leading distributor of glassware, tableware and barware, used the occasion of the recent Hotelympia exhibition to launch its new 2016 catalogue. The catalogue is packed with hundreds of new products, many of which were on display at the Show. The stand itself was an homage to Lewis Carroll, drawing inspiration from his brilliant Alice in Wonderland. Visitors to the stand were amazed and amused in equal measure as it evoked a real ‘kid in a sweetshop’ reaction.
The 2016 Catalogue
The new catalogue is a fully illustrated, full colour publication containing a complete reference work of Artis products designed to inspire and motivate chefs and restaurateurs. Amongst the new products comes porcelain collections from Bauscher and Tafelstern, new glassware ranges from Libbey, Luigi Bormioli, Durobor and Duralex, together with a range of striking new copper barware:
Delight – This is the latest porcelain collection from Tafelstern, using its innovative material, Noble China. Despite its delicate lines and lightness of body, Delight is surprisingly resistant to chipping and glaze damage which offers an extended service life. The bone white finish enhances the impression of discreet elegance.
Copper barware collectionCopper barware collection – The success of copperware has led Artis to dramatically expand its offering. New for 2016 is a range of solid copperware that includes dented mugs, wine coolers, mugs with nickel lining and pineapple cocktail vessels. Also introduced this year is a range of ‘antique copper look’ mugs and cocktail accessories that are, surprisingly, actually made from stainless steel!
Craft beer collectionCraft beer collection – Artis is the sole UK distributor of Luigi Bormioli glassware to the foodservice industry and new for 2016 is the Birrateque crystal craft beer collection made using SON.hyx technology. This range matches the organoleptic characteristics of the beer type to the correct shape, style and quality of glass. There are six different styles for various types of beer – stout/porter, wheat/weiss; IPA/white; cider and seasonal beer together with a beer tester.
