Leading hotel investment and hospitality Group Amaris Hospitality has today announced a number of new appointments to its senior management team, as it continues to pursue a strategy to drive superior performance and growth across the Group.
The new appointments are:
Joe Green, Head of Development, will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Group’s property strategy and the identification of new growth and development opportunities.
Julieann Brennan, Head of Franchised Hotels, with overall responsibility for the management of the Group’s franchise properties, including its Hilton branded hotels.
Peter Stack, Head of Asset Management – Accor Hotels, will have responsibility for the 21 AmarisHospitality properties trading under Accor brands Mercure, MGallery and Ibis Styles currently managed by Accor.
Ciaran Lavery, Head of Design and Construction for Jurys Inn & Franchised Hotels, will lead all aspects of renovations, rebrands, construction projects and miscellaneous capital and technical standards for the Jurys Inn and franchise divisions.
Richard Kiersey, Property Director – Accor Hotels, with responsibility for ensuring all aspects of technical services, maintenance and property are appropriately executed in the hotels managed by Accor.
Stephanie Gosling, Head of Revenue Management, will lead the revenue strategy for all Amaris Hospitality business divisions.
Suzanne Cannon, Head of Marketing for Amaris Hospitality and Jurys Inn, with responsibility for the overall brand strategy for all the branded hotels in the Amaris Hospitality portfolio, as well as continuing to act as Group Marketing Manager for Jurys Inn.
The new appointees join Group CEO, John Brennan, Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO, Cormac Ó Tighearnaigh, Chief People Officer, Jennifer Lee and Group Director of Finance, Darren Guy, on the Amaris Hospitality management team. This includes Jason Carruthers, who was appointed Managing Director of Jurys Inn in November last year.

Amaris Hospitality was established by Lone Star in July 2015 and brought together hotel properties from portfolios acquired by Lone Star over the last three years.
Last year, Amaris Hospitality unveiled its plans to rebrand 23 hotels from its portfolio as part of a £100 million strategy and investment programme aimed at accelerating the growth and development of the Group’s hotel portfolio. On completion of the programme, Amaris Hospitality’s three key business divisions will comprise 74 hotels trading under eight leading hotel brands: Jurys Inn, Mercure, MGallery, Ibis Styles, Crowne Plaza, Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn.
Currently, the Group has over 13,500 rooms, employs over 6,000 people and its business divisions have combined sales totalling more than £400 million, making Amaris Hospitality one of the largest hotel owners and managers in the UK.
