Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea being launched at iconic restaurant Quaglino’s to celebrate the centenary of beloved author Roald Dahl this March.
Available from the 1st March the new afternoon tea is a truly decadent experience that pays homage to the man who filled our childhood day dreams with decadent chocolate and dreamy milkshake wonders.
This mountain of rich delights has been carefully crafted by executive pastry chef Jack Smith for Quaglino’s, and features Golden Ticket Chocolate Bars, Bubblegum Candy Floss, Mini Chocolate Ice Cream Cones as well as a host of savoury morsels including egg & baby cress on toast, prawn cocktails on baby gem lettuce, cured ham grissini and smoked salmon rosti.
To wash down these sumptuous sweets guests can select from Quaglino’s menu of traditional and herbal teas as well as their bespoke cocktail menu which includes the ‘Oompa Loompa’ made with Remy Martin, Mozart black, Absinthe syrup and topped with fresh mint cream or The Golden Ticket with Mozart Gold, Frangelico, Liquor 42 and finished with orange bitte.
