New General Manager Announced at Renaissance London Heathrow

The Renaissance London Heathrow, owned and operated by the Arora Group, has announced the appointment of Stephen Clayton as General Manager of the recently refurbished luxury 4-star hotel.

Stephen has 13 years’ hotel management experience and takes on the positon at Renaissance London Heathrow after a period in the Arora Group head office, where he was the interim Hotel Opening & Project Manager. Prior to that he worked for the Arora Group as General Manager of the 4-star 350-room Arora Hotel Heathrow.

Before joining the Arora Group, Stephen worked with Whitbread at Premier Inn for eight years, most recently as Cluster General Manager at Gatwick Airport where he oversaw nine hotels in and around Gatwick Airport with a total of 854 bedrooms. Stephen has also held General Manager positions at the 204-room Premier Inn Gatwick Manor Royal, 276-room Premier Inn London King’s Cross as well as Premier Inn London Elstree & Borehamwood and Premier Inn Gatwick Crawley East.

Speaking of the new appointment, Vincent Madden, Director of Operations at Arora Hotels, a division of the Arora Group, commented:

“Stephen’s extensive management experience from his time with the Arora Group, and from previous roles, along with his knowledge of airport hotel operations make him a natural fit for the Renaissance. Having just completed a £20m remodelling and renovating investment programme, we are delighted that Stephen is on board to help us deliver a seamless new guest experience and to firmly establish the Renaissance as a leading international hotel at London Heathrow.”
