Malmaison, the iconic boutique hotel brand, announces the appointment of Benjamin Bel as the new General Manager of Malmaison Aberdeen.
Benjamin brings to Malmaison more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality and catering industry. Benjamin joins Malmaison Aberdeen from BaxterStorey, where he held the position of Operations Manager for the past 18 months. In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the hotel whilst managing and driving the growth of the business.
Scott Harper, COO Malmaison, said, “Benjamin brings a wealth of experience to this role and we believe he is a great addition to the Malmaison team. He embodies the brand values of daring, innovation and passion. Malmaison Aberdeen has an excellent reputation in the market as one of Scotland’s best hotels and we expect to see great things from him in his new role.”
Benjamin added, “We are committed to working alongside the communities where we do business through local initiatives and partnering with local organisations and charities. It is very important to me that we build strong relationships with our neighbours and I’m excited to get to know them.
He went on to say, “Aberdeen is a beautiful city and although it is a trying time, it has lots to offer from its rich history to its many events and exhibitions. Although I worked in Scotland for a number of years, I am new to Aberdeen so who better to show me the city and what it has to offer than its residents?”
Housed in a granite building, Malmaison Aberdeen is ideally located close to the city centre, offering stylish rooms, fine dining and spa facilities.
