Made entirely of wood, Django Bango is a bona fide buckaroo town with sprawling multi-storey buildings and dusty streets; complete with a Saloon Bar, creaky church confessional and the risk of jail time for any outlaws designed by Apocalypse Events. Folks are free to roam the land, feast on American street food. Guests can also drop in to the general stores to pick up their cowboy clobber, or win a free shot of potent Cactus Juice, by sharing their cowboy capers on Instagram, or Facebook.
Drinking and dancing in the streets is favoured in this town, but guests can also curl up on bales of hay in one of the many softly lit country houses (although few will be able to resist movin’ and shakin’ when Django Bango’s own live country band start to play classic country hits!)
Cowboys are never at their best on an empty stomach: luckily Django Bango’s American street food stalls are here to help. Load up on a 10-slow roasted Hog, carved in the square and piled into a brioche bun with coleslaw; Nachos piled high with guacamole and fresh chillies; or the classic Chilli con Carne or vegetable stews fresh off the chuckwagon served with succotash and cornbread. And to wash it all down with, head on over to the saloon bar for a range of signature cocktails. Here you’ll find the likes of the ‘Badlands Brew’ – a heady concoction of Tequila, apple, lime and Agave topped up with Prosecco.
The town suits gangs of any size; large rowdy clans can reserve rooms or even entire houses, or couples can cosy up in one of the smaller rooms with views of Django Bango’s lively streets below. Early birds can snap up the rooms with views overlooking the bustling main square where they can sit back and watch the mayhem unfold. Django Bango will bring their flavour of the Wild West to London’s East End from February all the way through until April.
