Stand 2750 – The ‘Artis Wonderland’ themed stand will showcase the Company’s new 2016 catalogue packed with new tabletop and barware ideas.
Artis, the leading distributor of glassware, tableware and barware, is launching its new 2016 catalogue at Hotelympia. It is packed with hundreds of new products, many of which will be showcased at the exhibition. The stand is an homage to Lewis Carroll drawing inspiration from his brilliant Alice in Wonderland. The design and new products will truly evoke a ‘kid in a sweetshop’ reaction.
The 2016 Catalogue
The new catalogue is a fully illustrated, full colour publication containing a complete reference work of Artis products designed to inspire and motivate chefs and restaurateurs. Amongst the new products comes porcelain collections from Bauscher and Tafelstern, new glassware ranges: from Libbey, Luigi Bormioli, Durobor, Duralex and a range of striking new copper barware:
Delight – This is the latest porcelain collection from Tafelstern, using its innovative material, Noble China. Despite its delicate lines and lightness of body, Delight is surprisingly resistant to chipping and glaze damage which offers an extended service life. The BoneWhite finish enhances the impression of discreet elegance.
Copper barware collection – The success of copperware has led Artis to dramatically expand its offering. New for 2016 is a range of solid copper ware that includes dented mugs, wine coolers, mugs with nickel lining and pineapple cocktail vessels. Also introduced this year is a range of ‘antique copper look’ mugs and cocktail accessories that are, surprisingly, actually made from stainless steel!
Craft beer collection – Artis is the sole UK distributor of Luigi Bormioli glassware to the foodservice industry and new for 2016 is the Birrateque crystal craft beer collection made using SON.hyx technology. This range matches the organoleptic characteristics of the beer type to the correct shape, style and quality of glass. There are six different styles for various types of beer – stout/porter, wheat/weiss; IPA/white; cider and seasonal beer together with a beer tester.
Tramontina Knife Set Winner
Artis is taking the opportunity of Hotelympia to present the winners its recent joint competition with H&C News. The lucky winner, Richard Walker, is head chef at Fawsley Hall Hotel in Daventry and he will receive a professional chef’s knife set courtesy of Tramontina. The presentation will take place on Artis stand 2750 at 12 noon on Monday, February 29th.
