American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) today announces the appointment of Pauline Houston as Global Director of Hotel Community, based in the United Kingdom. In this role, Pauline is responsible for the management of the hotel community team and for leading American Express’ hotel value proposition, development and delivery. Pauline will also serve as a key member of the Hotel Value and Revenue Management leadership team. Pauline will report to Wes Bergstrom, Vice President, Hotel Value and Revenue Management.
Pauline joins GBT from Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where she was Global Director of Hotel & M&E Supplier Management. Prior to this, she was a board member at Devere Hotels & Resorts leading the commercial teams.

Pauline commenced her new role in January and is based from home in Scotland.
