Quite a few tweets, like this one from Paul Heathcote MBE on news feeds pointing to a series of articles by John Hind at The Guardian titled, The Chefs’ Guide to life.
They are candid and give real insight to just how much hard work was and continues to be applied as well as the pain and sacrifices some of our industry’s most respected and accomplished chefs have gone through to get to where they are today.
The piece on Phil Howard chef and co-owner of The Square, Mayfair on life and work after quitting crack cocaine is particularly enlightening.
