Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill in The Cube has served an incredible 14,342 diners in the 2015 Christmas period. The number of covers seen over the festive period has been the highest numbers ever seen by the sky high Steakhouse. The restaurant also saw a huge number of festive diners in December only, with the total amount of covers for December amounting to 12,641.
The hugely successful Christmas period for the Birmingham central restaurant saw an influx of hungry diners eating their way through 1,733 Sticky Toffee puddings, 1,366 Christmas Turkey dinners and 1,254 Ribeye steaks during the 2015 Christmas period.
As well as eating, the people of Birmingham and beyond have been thoroughly enjoying themselves at the restaurants’ skyward bar in the Steakhouse. In December, a total of 5,537 cocktails were sold, 2,056 bottles of Champagne and sparkling wine were drank and 3,350 pints of the Spanish lager San Miguel was enjoyed over the festive period.
The restaurant created roles for 45 members of staff over the festive period, from kitchen staff to waiting staff to aid with the huge influx of diners over the Christmas period.
