Northampton Saints Rugby Football Club (NRFC) has completed its new stand in the stadium which now holds 2,000 additional seats.
This multimillion pound project was part managed by onsite caterer KUDOS in conjunction with NRFC, Buckingham Group and its associate contractors.
Not only has the stand helped increase the stadium’s capacity – it has gone from 13,500 to 15,500 – but KUDOS has also been able to double the amount of corporate hospitality it provides. There are now three new kitchens, stylish private boxes, a hospitality suite, an extra bar and a cellar.
The previous stand (Sturtridge) was demolished last May and renamed and rebuilt as the Barwell stand.
KUDOS’ Managing Partner, Jon Pryce, commented: “The team here at KUDOS are all excited about the changes to the NRFC stadium.
“The stand will bring in more fans which will inevitably mean a higher footfall in the retail outlets and more advanced facilities for corporate hospitality clients.”
Northampton Saints’ Chief Executive, Allan Robson, said: “I have been extremely pleased with the way the whole team – my own staff, our building contractor and in particular our catering partner KUDOS – have planned and worked tirelessly to ensure our hospitality facilities open on time. They have significantly enhanced our overall match day experience.”
