Hotelympia is offering show visitors an exclusive ‘virtual’ glimpse at the subtle design elements and decor of some of London’s top hospitality spaces, through its ground-breaking Walk-in Immersive Experience – something never-before-seen on the show floors of any hospitality event.

The Walk-in Immersive Experience, brought to the show in association with digital pioneers, Soluis, will transport visitors ‘virtually’ to three sumptuously designed spaces including the all-new German Gymnasium in King’s Cross, the new M Restaurant site in Victoria and the striking Hilton Bankside Hotel.

Elements of each will be laid bare for visitors to experience in three fascinating digital dimensions, offering inspiration and a unique up-close-and-personal view that a standalone meal or room for the night simply can’t deliver.

Toby Wand, Managing Director at Fresh Montgomery comments: “Hotelympia has been given exclusive access to three of the most exciting design projects in the capital and throughout the four-day show will be granting visitors the opportunity to explore them unrestricted. It doesn’t matter if you’re an operator in search of new ideas or a designer or architect searching for the next big thing in design, a visit to our Walk-in Immersive Experience will offer something truly unique – a Hotelympia world first.”

Yet again interiors will take pride of place at Hotelympia 2016 with the Walk-in Immersive Dome as centrepiece. Hundreds of pioneering exhibitors will be joined by stellar speakers including: celebrity designer, author, writer and TV presenter, Oliver Heath, who will discuss biophilic design – the practice of using elements of nature to create healthier and happier interior environments – and how for some its usage has yielded marked spikes in staff productivity; one of Britain’s most celebrated restaurant designers, Afriditi Krassa, talking about her award-winning work and the inspiration behind projects for Heston Blumenthal, Hilton hotels, Itsu and Dishoom and Ella Jade Bitton of Ella Jade Interiors who will be offering design tips and advice and looking at trends for the future – a chance for operators to do different and impress new and existing customers with fresh and striking interiors.

Hotelympia’s Design Award is also set to culminate in the crowning of the UK’s best designed new restaurant.

Registration is now live for the biennial four-day show, the home of hospitality innovation, which will see the unique needs of visitors from every sector of hospitality, from hotels and restaurants to pubs; cafes; contract catering; casual dining; the cost sector and beyond, catered for by 1000 of some of the world’s most pioneering exhibitors in Food & Drink; Catering Equipment; Technology; Interiors & Tableware; Careers and sustainability-focused Waste-Works.
