Award-winning Hand Picked Hotels has chosen L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, Jersey, as its Hotel of the Year in recognition of an outstanding performance in 2015.
L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, overlooking the white sands of St Brelade’s Bay, and part of the Hand Picked Hotels collection of 20 hotels across the UK and Channel Islands, won the accolade following a stellar year, during which it achieved the highest guest satisfaction scores in the collection, a substantial increase in overall employee satisfaction and excellent sales and profit growth in 2015.
Julia Hands, Chairman and Chief Executive of Hand Picked Hotels, paid tribute to the team at the hotel, led by General Manager Simon Miller. She said: “The guest feedback was excellent, with exceptionally positive comments about the team, service and the overall experience. The employee survey results were among the highest in the company. The hotel delivered very strong sales and profit targets for the year. Simon and his team have been outstanding.”

The Victorian former private country beachside house has 106 bedrooms and two restaurants, including a 2 AA rosette fine dining restaurant and a large beachfront terrace.
