Classic Quiche Lorraine

This recipe for Classic Quiche Lorraine is brought to you by Rachel Phipps.

The ingredient you will need:

  • 255g (9 oz) Plain (All Purpose) Flour
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 85g (3 oz) Unsalted Butter
  • 45g (1.5 oz) Cooking Lard
  • 6 tbsp Cold Water
  • 1 Pack Spoilt Pig Streaky Smoked Bacon
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • Yolks of 3 Large Eggs (make meringues with the spare egg whites)
  • 150ml (1/4 pint) Single Cream
  • 150ml (1/4 pint) Whole Milk
  • Small Chunk Gruyere or Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • Sea Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
