With the first stage of the hotel’s £2.5 million refurbishment almost complete, Tewkesbury Park has appointed Patrick Jones, formerly at The Old Swan & Minster Mill in Oxfordshire, as its new General Manager.
While General Manager at The Old Swan & Minster Mill, the de Savary family’s 5-star boutique, Patrick increased revenue by over 30% and initiated a restructure of the sales team in order to improve sales activity.
With 30 years’ experience of the hotel industry throughout Europe, Patrick brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise in the luxury market. He will be responsible for overseeing the continuing investment, development and daily operations of Tewkesbury Park’s soon-to-be 94 bedrooms, meeting & events suites, golf and leisure club.
Commenting on his new role, Patrick said, “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Tewkesbury Park team at such an exciting time of investment and transformation. In tandem with this we will focus on putting guest hospitality at the heart of everything we do to further develop this fast-growing business.”
