Celebrating the glamour of the Prohibition era, The Bootlegger brings alive America’s roaring twenties in London. Being authentic to this bygone era, the retro basement lounge evokes an enticing Speakeasy experience.
Exposed brickwork, period flooring and copper wiring light installations provide the backdrop for the drinking den, whilst the eclectic furniture, vintage fittings, original period photography and secret props transport drinkers to the dark underground world of Prohibition decadence.
The Bootlegger offers an exceptional selection of hooch filled cocktails and a vintage themed menu, with Signature creations and classics with a forbidden twist including Kahula Coffee based The Informant, Grey Goose Pear Vodka mixed to create Giggle Juice, Bacardi based Booze Hound and Cariel & Stolichnaya Vanilla Vodka combined to fashion Dizzy with the Dame. Staying true to Speakeasy origins, a light-bites food menu accompanies the extensive liquor collection providing cold cut platters, salted snacks, olives and cheese plates.
Weekly live music performances add to the ambiance of The Bootlegger, showcasing a diverse mix of classic rhythms from the era. The undisclosed headliners will deliver a mix of Blues, Jazz, Charleston and Motown to complete The Bootlegger bill with a weekly DJ set on Friday evenings to welcome the weekend.
