As Rugby World Cup 2015 concluded in spectacular nail-biting fashion to an estimated audience of 120 million, the Official Spirits & Champagne Tournament Provider, William Grant & Sons celebrated serving its 3,242nd bottle of Piper-Heidsieck champagne and the 9,742nd Hendrick’s and Tonic at The Champagne and Cucumber Patch Bar at Twickenham stadium on Saturday.
Declared the biggest and best Rugby World Cup ever, the Tournament generated ticket sales of over 2.47 million, an official fanzone attendance of over one million and an estimated 460,000 fans travelled from overseas to witness the action.

William Grant & Sons hosted supporters at The Champagne and Cucumber Patch serving drinks from its premium portfolio with a total of 39 Jeroboams, 16 bottles of vintage Rare, 3,242 bottles of Piper-Heidsieck, and 9,742 glasses of Hendrick’s and Tonics served during the six week Tournament.
