It has been announced that Premier Inn has been named the UK’s number one – according to the results of the annual Which? Hotel Report.
Premier Inn, with over 700 sites and 60,000 rooms across the UK, was declared Britain’s best with an overall score of 83% in this year’s report – to be named the UK’s top rated hotel chain. The score also sees it beat off its nearest rival by a margin of 8%, demonstrating a clear lead in the sector.
The report, compiled by Which?, surveyed its members as well as the general public. The research looked at key factors that contribute to making a hotel chain the best in the UK. These included; value for money, customer satisfaction, cleanliness and bed comfort.
Ticks all the boxes
Simon Jones, Managing Director of Premier Inn, said: “We’re delighted that Which?, has highlighted that Premier Inn ticks all of the boxes required to make it as the UK’s “top rated” hotel chain. To have scored top marks across so many of the measures is testament to all of our team across our whole business.

The announcement adds to what has already been a successful year for the UK’s most loved hotel chain, where earlier this year, over 80% of Premier Inn hotels also achieved a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
