H&C News (Hospitality and Catering News), the leading website, newsletter and events organiser for the UK foodservice industry is expanding and looking for a new editorial assistant to join the team in Ascot.
Launched in 2009, H&C News provides news and analysis on all aspects of the UK foodservice and accommodation industry – covering restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars and cafes, and catering organisations – with a loyal, growing readership of over 50,000 a month.
With more and more content to review, edit and publish as well as industry events to attend we are looking for a talented editorial assistant.
This new position will play a key role: receiving, sourcing and editing the major news stories in our industry and extend their reach through social media.
The ability to write and edit articles is essential as is familiarity with digital publishing and social media, especially Twitter and Facebook.
H&C News is based in Ascot, where induction and ongoing training will take place. The role is office based, initially part time, 5 days a week circa 20 hours, and we do expect the successful candidate to grow this role into a full time one.
