Open Kitchen Live brings chefs together to test new dishes on their professional peers and submit them to a panel of judges, who will declare one the winner. It aims to promote menu experimentation and collaboration within the profession.
We are delighted to announce the three chefs taking part in the last Open Kitchen Live of 2015 at the Equipline Development Kitchen in Uxbridge on 24 November.

Chef Matt Byne’s dish will be za’atar spiced mackerel, ancient grains, hass yoghurt, flaxseed and fennel crisps.
Chef Paul Mason’s dish will be Charred Cobia, Shichimi pepper, Black Yuzu and Iced Cucumber.
Chef Damian Wawrzyniak’s dish will be Venison Noisette with Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Salsify, Jerusalem Artichoke, Cauliflower Textures & Umami Jus. We are looking forward to receiving a picture of the dish as well trying it on the day.

Mridula BaljekarThe judges include: Mridula Baljekar author of Great Indian Feasts, awarded Best Asian Cookbook in the world at the Gourmand World Media, billed as the ‘Oscars’ for the culinary publication and media industry. Mridula also cooked for Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall and Tony and Cherie Blair and many more well-known ‘foodies’ providing culinary excellence in their homes.

Open Kitchen Live is a free to attend event that brings chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, caterers, publicans, consultants and their clients together to…taste, test and discuss new menu ideas.
We have plenty of parking space available or if coming by tube we can pick you up from and drop you back to Uxbridge, London Tube Station. When you register please let us know if you want a reserved car space or want collection from and return to the local tube station.
