With the first stage of Tewkesbury Park’s £2.5 million refurbishment nearly complete, the hotel has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of a new Assistant General Manager and a new Head Chef.
New to the team is Dai Nicholls who is joining Tewkesbury Park as the new Head Chef. Dai has over 20 years’ experience of working as a chef and so brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role.
Assistant General Manager Samantha Mason joins Tewkesbury Park to manage a team of 60 people and also oversee the hotel’s programme of weddings and special events.
Claire White, Director of Tewkesbury Park, said: “We are delighted to have Samantha and Dai on board and we are sure that the hotel and restaurant will benefit from both of their expertise.
“These appointments, together with the significant refurbishment programme that is taking place, underline our commitment to ensuring that Tewkesbury Park now offers guests some of the very best facilities in the county.”
Each of the 85 bedrooms at Tewkesbury Park now has a fresh new look with the help of local interior design company, ADS Design. Thirty of these are executive rooms featuring Smart TVs, luxury furnishings and Nespresso coffee machines. The swimming pool and changing facilities have also been transformed and refurbishment of the hotel’s reception area is due to take place this winter.
