As readers can imagine, H&C News is currently inundated with news of the many worthwhile initiatives being introduced across UK hospitality for the Rugby World Cup. However, we felt that this initiative by Fuller’s illustrates the effort needed to stand out in the rugby crowd!
Pictured above are England World Cup winners Kyran Bracken (ex-Saracens & England) and Katy McLean (DMP Sharks & England) bringing rugby to the City of London but overestimate the size of their task as they help put the finishing touches to the Fuller’s London Pride Clubhouse on Moorgate. Katy and Kryan host the opening night of the pop up rugby watching venue on Friday 18th September.
Of course, Fuller’s has a long association with rugby: in 1845, Fuller’s was founded and the rules of rugby were written. The West London brewer is a proud supporter of many local rugby clubs and watching a game with a pint of London Pride has become a natural fit.
Now Fuller’s has crafted the London Pride Clubhouse especially for London’s rugby fans to enjoy the games in the very best style.
Matchdays at the Clubhouse, on Moorgate, will be hosted by rugby legends such as Zinzan Brooke, Martin Corry, Kyran Bracken and Katy McLean while a bespoke sound system and state of the art big screens capture the full passion and atmosphere of the key clashes.
The London Pride Clubhouse opens its doors on September 18th and will be welcoming guests for all the key games until the end of October.
