FEM ‘meats’ the increased demand for quality carving stations

By James Russell: FEM ‘meats’ the increased demand for quality carving stations

Vollrath Contoured Double Lamp Carving Stations from FEM

Carveries are increasingly popular, as they enable operators to offer a low cost, self-serve meal. As well as displaying the meat attractively, carvery stations need to ensure that meat is held at ideal temperature and in perfect condition for the duration of the service. No one wants tough, cold meat with their roast dinner!

FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has launched the Vollrath Contoured Double Lamp Carving Station, which keeps roast meat succulent and hot ready for serving. Its angled dual heat lamps keep the food warm whilst also attractively illuminating the meat offering. The spun aluminium lamp shades help channel the heat.

The Carving Station has a highly functional tabletop design, enabling it to be easily transported and sited into any serving setup. Its classic styling means it complements any decor and the heavy-duty, chrome-plated steel frame ensures it can withstand everyday use. The carvery station features a clear, tempered glass screen to help protect the food from germs during service.

The Carving Station includes a knife-friendly, dishwasher safe, NSF-Certified cutting board, which sits securely in the base and lifts out for easy cleaning. The recessed base channels meat juices into a removable drip pan, which can later be used for making gravies and sauces.

The Carving Station measures 609mm (w) x 559mm (d) x 685mm (h). Its solid base features an on/off switch and rubber feet for added stability and to protect the tabletop.

FEM supplies the Vollrath Contoured Double Lamp Carving Station with a full one-year parts and labour warranty for a list price of £1180.00 + VAT.
