Set to open on in October on the corner of Corn Exchange Street and Wheeler Street, Reys’ specialty is rotisserie chicken, all slowly-roasted, self-basted and sensationally succulent.
The Reys team have flame-grilled in Northampton’s tiniest kitchen, fought fire in a garden pit in York and crossed from Cornwall to Carcassonne in search of the best breeds, the perfect recipe and the most succulent tasty birds.
Diners will choose a quarter, half or whole chicken served with a selection of unique Reys BBQ sauces, gravy and an array of sides. Other dishes that truly complement the nations favourite bird include light salads, Asian slaw and crispy wings. Creating a bit of intrigue and theatre, guests will have a full view of the impressive 25-bird rotisserie spit at the front of the restaurant whilst chefs will use giant cleavers to cut the chicken to order.
Open for lunch and dinner all week as well as serving brunch at the weekend, Reys will cover two floors with fresh wood fixtures and finishes brightened with pops of orange and white.
