FEM supplies San Jamar Cool-Touch flame resistant gloves, which offer excellent hand protection against extreme high heat, flames and steam. Available as puppet or conventional style oven gloves, Cool-Touch are ambidextrous and come in a choice of lengths.
The gloves are made with flame-retardant Nomex and Kevlar, to safeguard hands from temperatures of 280˚C for up to 30 seconds and intermittent flame protection up to 482˚C. For extra protection and durability, the Kevlar® WebGuard™ offers extra heat protection and durability between thumb and forefinger, which are the parts of the hand most exposed to heat when cooking.
As well as a standard hanging loop, Cool Touch gloves feature a magnetic store-away system which allows them to be attached to any magnetic surface. For comfort and ease of movement, the gloves feature an angled cuff. San Jamar’s Cool-Touch oven gloves are machine washable to ensure high levels of hygiene can be maintained.
