The Topline 500 under-counter warewasher range from Smeg Foodservice has been improved and reconfigured with additional tailored cycles like cold rinse, dump and fill to meet the needs of busy environments such as bars and operators who need to remove heavy soiling.

“We looked at the foodservice and hospitality operators in the UK who need rapid throughput, and the capability to get rid of food and drink residue quickly, and have introduced the reconfigured Topline 500 under-counter units to meet these needs.

“In addition the range now comes with default factory settings featuring single phase wiring to allow easy installation in most sites in the UK. All in all we are listening to what operators need and making sure Smeg warewashers more than meet their requirements,” comments Phil Coulstock, commercial channel director for Smeg UK.

The Topline warewashers feature a range of build, performance and energy saving features:

  • A standby system which saves up to 70 per cent of energy over standard industry models when the machine is not in use.
  • ‘Smart wash’ system to automatically and precisely dose detergent and rinse aid, plus optimised hydraulic circuit and water level check to ensure maximum efficiency during the wash cycle.
  • Stainless steel, double skinned insulated construction
  • Self-wash at the end of the drain cycle to cut the amount of operator cleaning that’s required
  • Smeg’s latest models also feature compact pressed wash tank with reduced capacities which require less water, energy, detergent and rinse aid each cycle.
