A new and luxurious lodge retreat will be opening its doors to guests for the first time this August following a 10 month redevelopment of the former Newton Mill Holiday Park after a £4.5 million investment.
Operated by Darwin Escapes and available for rent through industry experts Hoseasons, Bath Mill Lodge Retreat will offer guests the ultimate in luxurious self-catering accommodation, designed to the standards of a five star hotel.
Aimed at both leisure and business travellers alike, Bath Mill is located on the western edge of Bath and features beautifully landscaped grounds surrounded by woodland. It will also offer a brand new Bar and Bistro, The Brook, where guests and non-residents can enjoy a range of mouth-watering meals either inside or on the extensive outdoor terrace. The Brook will also offer conference and events space.
Bath Mill will bring a totally new type of accommodation to Bath, offering studio and two, three and four bedroom lodges which will provide an enticing and spacious alternative to Bath’s more conventional hotels and guest houses.
Talking about the forthcoming opening of Bath Mill Lodge Retreat, Lindsey Bamford, Managing Director of Darwin Escapes, commented:
“Not only will we be welcoming tourists and holidaymakers, but we will be working hard to attract business travellers who are looking for a home-from-home experience with a luxury hotel feel. We will also be looking to raise our profile as a venue for conferences, functions and events, making it a highly valuable new addition for the Bath area.”
The perfect base from which to explore Bath and the South West, Bath Mill features 63 modern lodges set within a leafy location with a delightful babbling brook running through the site. Visitors to Bath Mill Lodge Retreat will be able to stay in a range of deluxe lodges, sleeping from one to up to eight people, all of which have been finished to the highest specification with bespoke, premium interiors.
With a real emphasis on creating a lifetime of memories for guests, Bath Mill Lodge Retreat opens its doors to guests on 14 August. A range of lodges are available to rent through Hoseasons, as well as through online booking sites such as booking.com. Prices start from £242 for a three night stay (off peak) in studio accommodation sleeping two people. One night stays are also available.
The opening of Bath Mill marks an exciting time for operator Darwin Escapes, which has opened a number of brand new luxury holiday destinations in recent years and now offers 14 resorts, retreats and holiday parks located around the UK, including Cheddar Woods in Somerset, Piran Meadows in Cornwall and Beach Cove in Devon.
