Graysons to provide catering and hospitality services to the Crick

Caterer Graysons has been awarded the catering services contract at the Francis Crick Institute in London. The contract will be worth in excess of £6 million in revenue including hospitality over an initial three year contract term.

The Crick is a multi-disciplinary biomedical research institute due to open in its own state of the art building later this year next to St Pancras in Central London. It is a unique partnership between six of the UK’s most successful scientific and academic institutions to create a world leading centre for research in order to find new ways to treat, diagnose, and prevent illnesses.

Restaurant, cafés and hospitality services

Graysons will be working in partnership with the Crick to manage the 300 cover staff restaurant facility for the 1,500 people on site, as well as operating the staff café and providing hospitality services for meeting rooms and events in the exhibition space and auditorium. They will also be running a public café which supports the Crick’s inclusive public engagement ethos.

The award of the contract follows an extensive tendering process over the past six months involving many of the top caterers in Central London and comes shortly after Graysons other recent wins at the Chartered Insurance Institute and Christ Church Spitalfields.

Graysons team are already working with the Crick to plan and manage the catering for the migration of staff to the new building later this year.
