Jonny Marston and Howard Smith, of KPMG, were appointed joint administrators of Skelwith Leisure (Raithwaite) Limited on 22 July 2015.
The company owns and operates Raithwaite Hall, a luxury hotel set in 100 acres, located between Sandsend and Whitby, North Yorkshire and features as an integral part of the Raithwaite Estate. The hotel is centrally located on the Estate and is home to luxury accommodation, the Spa, Brace restaurant, Poachers bar and the Raithwaite Suite.
Raithwaite Hall backs onto stunning gardens and natural woodland, central to the beauty of the Estate, and offers both indoor and outdoor weddings at Raithwaite Hall. Raithwaite Hall accommodates up to 140 people for a seated wedding breakfast, and has a license to facilitate indoor weddings in the Raithwaite Suite and Conservatory and outdoor weddings on the lawn.
The hotel is continuing to trade under the control of the joint administrators whilst a buyer is sought.
