Food by Dish wins Eventim Apollo contract

By James Russell: Food by Dish wins Eventim Apollo contract

June 28, 2015

London caterer, Food by Dish, have won a supplier contract for Eventim Apollo, as the Hammersmith venue launches events for the first time.

Food by Dish won the contract which will run until September 2016, and will see the London caterer work with the venue to produce high-standard events ranging from award dinners to receptions for anything between 720 to 3600 guests.

Following an extensive investment throughout, the Grade II* listed venue was restored to its former art deco glory in 2013, Food by Dish will support Eventim Apollo as it looks to make inroads into the events market.

Hannah Flood, Sales and Marketing Director at Food by Dish comments: “After a strong start to the year, we are delighted to be added to the accredited list of caterers at the Eventim Apollo. Helping the team launch events for the first time is a really exciting opportunity, with our extensive experience in event catering we’re looking forward to developing menus and achieving the same high-quality standards that guests have come to expect from the venue.”

Heiko Kacimi-Alaoui, Deputy General Manager at Eventim Apollo added: “Following the refurbishment in 2013 we decided to invest in a state-of-the-art flat floor structure making the space suitable for anything from seated gala dinners to exhibitions and much more. With Food by Dish on our side we are confident to have found the right catering partner. With so many events already taking place at the Apollo it is imperative to have a knowledgeable and flexible partner. There’s no doubt that Dish will be a huge support on our way into corporate events, while supplementing the unique cultural heritage the venue has.”

This year has also seen Food by Dish win a new supplier contract at the Science Museum, while they continue to cater for renowned venues in the capital including the Natural History Museum, Banqueting House and Tobacco Dock London.
