5-Star Dining Destination Crocker’s Folly Launches Signature Cocktails

By James Russell: 5-Star Dining Destination Crocker’s Folly Launches Signature Cocktails

June 10, 2015

Crocker’s Folly, the opulent old Victorian gin house in St John’s Wood, has introduced a delicious range of themed cocktails to its menu.

Under the tutelage of Damian Wawrzyniak, who has previously worked in two Michelin-starred restaurants, the team at Crocker’s Folly has developed an impressive array of tasty alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Available now, the decadent selection has been carefully curated to pair with the reinvigorated menu at the glitzy former gin palace.

One of the flagship cocktails is the Aviation – containing tasty Aviation gin, violet liqueur and lime juice, topped off with a maraschino cherry. The mouth-watering concoction is already going down a treat at Crocker’s Folly, with many guests choosing to pair the delicious cocktail with the authentic home-cooked meals also on offer.

Guests can also enjoy the Folly Bellini, marrying cherry brandy liqueur, cherry jam and lavender bitters with Prosecco and silver sugar balls. Then there’s the unusual Devil’s Horn, a tempestuous mixture of rare ingredients, including pomegranate molasses, kaffir lime leaves and habanero chili – not for the faint of heart!

Chef Damian Wawrzyniak

Marouf Abouzaki, Company Chairman of the establishment, says, “Breathing new life into Crocker’s Folly has been a real pleasure, and the team here are now taking the reins and adding their own personal touches to the menu and the venue. Our new artisan cocktails are testament to the creativity of the staff here, and I’m confident that Crocker’s Folly will continue to be one of the go-to restaurants in the borough for the foreseeable future.”

Crocker’s Folly has long been a favourite with young professionals and locals – and it’s something of a hotspot for cricketers too. The elegant yet friendly atmosphere is complemented perfectly by the inventive menu, all set to period-interior splendour. The building itself is Grade II listed, and with Romanesque columns, chandeliers and more than fifty kinds of marble, guests can rest assured that they’ll be dining in some style.

The restaurant has been open for a matter of months, but it’s already cemented its status as one to watch on the London culinary scene. The show-stopping cuisine, theatrical setting and the highly trained FOH team have seen Crocker’s Folly crowned one of London’s most coveted establishments – and there’s plenty more to come.

Crocker’s Folly is located at 23–24 Aberdeen Place, St John’s Wood, London.
