Robbie Gleave joins GH Event Catering

GH Event Catering, the ambitious catering company headquartered in East Lothian, Scotland has made another senior appointment, which sees the award-winning development chef Robbie Gleave join the business.  He is a key addition to GH Event Catering’s senior management team and will make a pivotal contribution to the company’s plans for strong, continued growth.

Boasting over three decades of industry experience, Robbie has operated within some of the country’s most prestigious venues and events, including The Ritz London, Gleneagles Hotel, The Royal Garden Party at Holyrood Palace and the Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot Races. His achievements have been recognised with awards such as ‘Development Chef of the Year.  And with Robbie at the helm, his former employer of 12 years – catering firm Heritage Portfolio – won a number of food recognition awards.

In addition to his senior management role, Robbie’s new position as development chef involves working with the entire team in product development – aiming to exceed clients’ expectations of their catering experience.  New and exciting menus are being created and existing ones enhanced by Robbie and his team, as part of the company’s move to position itself as one of Scotland’s premium event catering firms.

He is also responsible for leading and developing the talented kitchen team, handpicking additional artisan food and drink suppliers within East Lothian and beyond to secure new catering contracts and help achieve GH Event Catering’s ambitious growth plans.
