Amanzi Tea has made it its mission to make people passionate about the world of tea – to understand, experiment, and have fun with it.
The store in Marylebone has been open since 2013 and features an interactive tea wall m showcasing 50 of Amanzi’s 150 proprietary blends of premium loose-leaf tea, where visitors can touch and smell the product.
Trained baristas are also always at hand to offer guidance and expertise on every aspect of tea, from flavours, to caffeine levels and health benefits. All teas are available to enjoy at the bar, to drink in or take away, either in their pure leaf form or in creative tea blends such as virgin cocktails, frappes, or bubble teas.
Amanzi constantly create, play and evolve using the oldest ingredients with the most innovative processes. The latest creations include a Matcha Frappe with Nutella, and refreshing Elderflower Rose Mar-Tea-Ni.
Major expansion plans
Amanzi will open a new store in Soho this August on Brewer Street, with more to follow. Antonia Hyltén-Cavallius, Business Development Manager commented:
“Our existing store in Marylebone has been hugely successful and our customers love what we do. The plan is to open in Soho with other stores in London to follow. Eventually, we’ll look to expand nationwide and hopefully internationally. Alongside the new Soho store launch, we’re also building a fully transactional website that should go live this summer.”
Always ahead of the curve, both stores will be launching a dedicated Matcha menu with both the pure organic ceremonial Matcha and Matcha blended drinks to further expand the range of pure teas, tea cocktails and mixed tea drinks.
