Crockers Folly is a beautiful Grade II* listed former Victorian gin palace that dates back to 1898. Sympathetically and painstakingly restored, Crocker’s Folly has been reinvented by its owners, the renowned Maroush Group, as a stylish restaurant and bar serving modern European food – complemented by a selection of wine and signature cocktails.
As a commis chef you’re on the first rung of the ladder to becoming a great chef. You’ll do food preparation work and basic cooking under the supervision of a chef de partie or section chef, rotating through sections such as sauce, vegetables, fish and butchery.
At Crockers Folly under the guidance and leadership of Chef Damian Wawrzyniak you will be part of a brigade that is delivering a very special experience to all diners.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Preparing ingredients
- Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
- Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
