Thistle Liverpool, the famous ship-shaped hotel on the banks of the Mersey has named six suites after Cunard’s favourite fleet, marking the shipping company’s 175th anniversary and its proud Liverpool heritage.
Cunard Captain Christopher Wells and six Bell Boys joined the Thistle team at the Central Liverpool hotel to ‘launch’ Queen Victoria, Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, The Aquitania, The Lusitania, and The Mauretania which all boast beautiful views.
A Cunard flag will also fly alongside its Thistle counterparts with views of the Royal Liver Building in the background throughout the anniversary month of May.
