About Lyric Hammersmith
In April 2015 The Lyric Hammersmith will officially re-open following a multi-million pound capital development including the creation of the new Reuben Foundation Wing with a range of state of the art facilities. The most significant cultural development to take place in West London for decades, the capital project is designed to build upon the Lyric’s unique position within the UK’s cultural ecology and its dual commitment to producing the highest quality contemporary theatre, alongside nurturing the creativity of young people. Building work for the Lyric Hammersmith’s ambitious expansion began in 2012 following several years of planning and fundraising, the existing building will also benefit from new toilets and improved environmental sustainability.
