Las Iguanas is riding the crest of a recent wave of wins on the people front with a summer recruitment drive. The Latin American restaurant operator has picked up accolades from the Employee Engagement Awards, the IiP Awards, a place on the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies list and just had confirmation of Investors in People Champion status. And now the company is looking for team members to fuel a number of new openings over the coming months.
The pipeline of new restaurants in Swansea, Chester, Coventry, Newport and Braintree will create 250 jobs, from front of house and chef management roles to kitchen teams, waiting staff and bar tenders. The success of recent openings in Woking and Torquay has also created extra management positions.
Successful applicants who are up to the challenge will benefit from industry leading training including the company’s ILM endorsed management programme, and are rewarded with an award-winning incentive programme which includes annual staff trips to Brazil and Cuba, competitions to get dishes and drinks on to the menu and the Iguana Awards ceremony.
