Coffee Republic is set to double its UK presence by the end of the year, having just opened Coffee Republic Northampton Railway Station in March 2015, Whitechapel, and East Shopping Centre. It now has 24 coffee bars in the UK, experiencing its fastest growth spurt since 2009. New openings are planned in various locations in and around London.
Furthermore, the coffee power house is set to expand abroad with openings in Barcelona, Spain. The 18th international franchised coffee bar is in Spain’s second largest Airport: Barcelona El- Prat, Airport Terminal 1 (Airside). Barcelona El-Prat expanded in 2009 operating 70% of flights and is known to be one of the busiest airports in Europe, handling more than 37 million passengers throughout 2014.
Spain has an established coffee culture and Coffee Republic will be adding to the exciting market.
Coffee Republic strategy is to expand its coffee bars through a franchise business model within the UK and globally, offering great tasting coffee and freshly made food on site in every coffee bar. Franchisees are joining the company because of the strong international presence and handcrafted coffee.
Following the success the expansion continues within the Middle East with coffee lovers also being to enjoy Coffee Republic at Muscat in Oman Expansion.
