‘Service en Chambre’ is the compact, luxurious solution to serving in-room beverages. Now its creator, Café du Monde, has improved its specification with an all-new coffee formulation and new eco-friendly biodegradable coffee bag material.

At the heart of the system is the company’s ‘cafetière coffee in a bag’ for use with the stylish stainless steel thermally insulated cafetière and personalised mugs, supplied by Café du Monde.
The new coffee is Rainforest Alliance Certified™* and is a blend of beans from the Minas Gerais plateau area in East Brazil and from Peru. The coffee is medium roasted to give it a satisfying, fuller flavour and is specially ground for use in the coffee bag.
In a further move to help protect the environment, the coffee bag itself uses the latest biodegradable polymer material made from the natural lactic liquid produced by plant sugars (dextrose) derived from corn maize plants.
Service en Chambre, which includes Café du Monde’s own Luxury drinking chocolate and a selection of tea from Newby of London, is aimed at the top echelon of hotels wishing to offer its guests beverages in the bedroom to match the standards of quality and presentation found elsewhere on the premises.
