On 8 April, BURGER KING will be introducing ‘Party in the Park’, a new menu offering for participating restaurants across the UK. The line-up boasts a combination of new and past favourite burgers, sides and drinks, including the hotly anticipated Chicken Fries.
After fans demanded its return, the popular Mushroom Swiss Steakhouse is back: the combination of a flame-grilled 100% beef Whopper patty, sautéed mushrooms, two slices of Swiss cheese and creamy mushroom sauce, accompanied by crispy onion and lettuce, encased in a warm corn dusted bun.
Pulled Pork BBQ Whopper
Following consumer trends research showing an increase in the demand for pulled pork in the UK, BURGER KING will launch the Pulled Pork BBQ Whopper as part of Party in the Park. It combines the quick service restaurant’s flame-grilled 100% beef Whopper patty with American cheese, tender pulled pork, BBQ sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and gherkins in a warm, classic Whopper bun.
Last but not least is the Ciabatta Chicken Tendercrisp, which comes in the form of a succulent 100% chicken breast in a crispy coating, topped with roasted tomato sauce, Swiss cheese, lettuce, mayo and tomatoes, all wrapped up in a crispy ciabatta bun.
All burgers will be available from a recommended price point of £4.79** or £5.79** as part of the meal, and will be served in differentiated Party in the Park packaging to give customers a full experience of the theme.
Chicken Fries
Party in the Park also sees the UK introduction of the recently announced Chicken Fries. Made with premium chicken coated in a light crispy breading and seasoned with savoury herbs and spices, Chicken Fries are perfectly shaped for dipping in BURGER KING’s BBQ dipping sauce. Chicken Fries will be available from £2.29 for 6 pieces and £2.99 for 9. An alternative side option also available is the Mozzarella Sticks; crispy, golden sticks of joy that ooze tasty mozzarella cheese.
Frozen drinks
If that doesn’t whet your appetite why not try BURGER KING’s new selection of frozen drinks, including Frozen Lemonade, Frozen Lemon Limeade, Frozen Cherry Berry Lemonade and Pina Colada Smoothie. These will be available from £1.69 for a regular and £1.99 for a large. BK Fusions will also receive a refreshing new addition; Bounty Fusion – with vanilla soft serve ice cream, chocolate and coconut topping and Bounty sauce, available from £1.19.
